Would someone PLEASE advise the Republicans, in Congress, to start holding DAILY Press Conferences, on the Capitol Steps, to Decry Nancy Pelosi’s individual intention to stop the debate from
coming to the floor in favor of opening ANWAR, and the OCS, to exploration and drilling. If Ms. Speaker wants to pander to the Environmentalists that support the Democrats, ask her who she thinks they would support if she allows the debate and a potential vote. I don’t think the Enviro’s would change over to the Republican Side. Supporting the Democrats is all they have.
Ms. Pelosi seems to be under a gross misconception that her opinion and POWER supersedes the will of the people. Should we rewrite things to read Government of the Congress, By the the Congress, and FOR the Congress. Congress, And the Judiciary, are the only Branches without Term Limits. This was a serious error on the Part of the Framers. Yet when things go bad, in this case, Energy, Economy, Entitlements, etc. Congress always finds the fault in the Executive Branch. The Only Branch WITH Term Limits. Personally, I’m pretty Sure President Bush is glad to be getting out.
Wake up Republicans. The Democratic Party is giving you a lot of ammunition to win in November. But first you have to Lock and Load.
